This is a fund for Black Sex Workers in the South who have been affected financially by COVID-19 and mentally by the recent murders of black individuals in the United States. Donations will be transferred to a Cash App account. Funds are distributed directly to individuals who request them. If you are a Southern Black Sex Worker and are in need, contact me on Insta

Update June 29, 2020:
The Black Sex Worker’s Fund bloomed out of anger. The anger of how black womxn, femmes, and non-binary folks are affected by violence Every Single Day. Covid-19 has rocked the sex work industry. Strip clubs are closed, clients are scared, and sex workers do not qualify for unemployment, leading to a loss of living.
The support of the fund has been overwhelming and I want to be fully transparent about where the money is going. I want to encourage folks to look deeper at where they are donating. Do the research. Are you donating to the people or a person?
I did not have a clear vision when I first started this fund, but now I do.
My initial plan was to give the money directly to the people by redistributing the money myself. I believe in direct community action and donating to folks directly. As a black genderqueer sex worker, I believe I am qualified to work and take up space in my community without holding power over folks. I have been doing this and have granted micro-grants to sex workers based in the south who apply.
To apply please fill out this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeR7F5dYst877FrfKdy0YvoLZp-duf-2F90ODj7ujKsoezkvQ/viewform.
I do not want to be a gatekeeper over the community, although I am implementing a form because of prior swerker scholarships being co-opted by people outside of the community.
To date I've withdrawn $7,599.42 from the fund, and $5,750 have been granted to those who have applied as micro-grants. The remaining $1,849.42 of my initial withdraw will be given out by the end of the week.
The money I received from GoFundMe was transferred to my Paypal account, afterwards, money is transferred to a cash app account and then given to those who have requested them.
As the donations grew, I became more overwhelmed. I am just one man. After contemplating I decided I am pledging the remaining funds of $23,084.30 to Sex Workers Outreach Project-USA (SWOP USA: https://swopusa.org/about-us/). SWOP holds the same values I do, which is why I want to entrust your donations to this organization. I am currently in talks with the executive director of the non-profit and hope that they'll be able to continue the work I started.
This issue is ongoing, please continue to support the community. This fund is a one-off fund. Once I redistribute the money and close the fund, the micro-grant application is going to be closed. The work is not over with one donation. The work is redistributing the wealth, community care, educating yourself, and so much more.
