This year, on October 4th, my family and I will be taking part in the Dash in the Dark 5K fundraiser for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. Later, on October 20th, I’ll also be running in the Southampton 5K to continue raising funds for this incredible charity.

This cause is deeply personal to us. When my beloved grandad passed away, their amazing paramedics were there for my family in our time of greatest need.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance is on a mission to save lives faster by building a new airbase near Southampton Airport. They’re aiming to raise £3.6 million for this vital project, which will reduce response times and ensure more people receive critical care when it matters most
