I’ve decided to take on an epic 623-mile cycle from Glasgow to Amsterdam in memory of my cousin Darren. Darren passed away in 2018 from acute myeloid leukaemia. He wasn’t just my cousin—he was my best pal. I know he’d be calling me a “mad bastard” for doing this, but I’m doing it with him in mind every mile of the way.

I’m aiming to raise money for the Beatson in his memory, to support the incredible work they do for others facing cancer. Every donation, big or small, means the world.

I will keep everyone updated on my journey. Everyone dig into your pockets, piggy bank's or even under your mattress every penny counts and would be appreciated this will help towards accommodation for a night or 2 will be camping the rest of the time. Also a ticket on the euro tunnel. Im hoping to do this in 1 week or less depending on the old legs. Everything else will go to charity
