Darcie is getting “the chop”!

Darcie has decided that she wants to do “her bit” and have her lovely long locks cut off to her shoulders to help raise funds whilst her Daddy is recovering from a massive bleed on his brain. She will also be donating her hair to The Little Princess Trust, just like her sister did when she was the same age. Hair cut is booked for 17th March!
Mark collapsed suddenly during the night on 3rd January after suffering a massive bleed on his brain. Our world was flipped upside down.
Over the last 8 weeks, her Daddy has undergone three operations on his brain and spent a total of 25 days in ICU sedated and on a ventilator with a 50/50 chance of survival.
Almost 5 weeks have gone by since he was successfully woken up from his sedation and has been going through a gruelling recovery process.
He woke up with complete left side paralysis which is now showing good signs of movement but mainly in the left leg. They will continue to work on this during his physio sessions. In the last week they have managed to improve his physio and have now managed to get him to stand for a minute which is massive progress.
His speech is improving daily especially since the feeding tube has been removed and he is slowly building up an appetite. He has lost a lot of weight and muscle mass as a result.
He has a long long way to go before he is able to come home and start working again and this is why Darcie would like to create this fund raiser to help support our family.
