Daragh is 33 years old and was diagnosed with a rare liver cancer back in February 2023. He had a 13cm tumour removed from the centre of his liver, recovered and got back on with life. Then again at his 12 month scan in February 2024, unfortunately the cancer had returned but spread to some lymph nodes on the outer of the liver, again surgery removed all of this, Daragh recovered and cracked back on. 2 years later at his check up scan unfortunately his cancer has returned. With there only be a possible 3 surgeries on a single liver, surgery isn't an option this time and Daragh will now be ongoing Immunotherapy for the foreseeable to prolong his life to allow him to somewhat carry on with life or until it stops working for him. He is now out of work for the foreseeable and as you can imagine 3 years in and out of work has took a massive toll on the families, not only income wise but mental health too.

We are asking for donations to help support Daragh, his partner and his 2 young sons while he is receiving treatment and is not working.

Daragh is a kind, generous and much loved family member.

We fully appreciate that there are other families out there that have similar circumstances and our thoughts, as a family, go out to everyone suffering as a result.
