DAR AHLUL HADITH MASJID APPEAL
Donation protected
بِسْم الله الرحمٰن الرحيم
والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله
We are an organization named *Dar Ahlul Hadith - Gambia*, which is upon Qur'an and sunnah upon the understanding of the Salaf as-Saalih.
We believe it is truly amazing — how little it can collectively cost — to provide a community with a much needed place of worship, and the opportunity to help provide this is a real blessing from Allah.
As Allaah (ﷻ) said:
The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. Allah gives manifold increase to whom He pleases. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knower. (Al-Baqarah 2:261)
We therefore seek assistance in our quest of establishing a Masjid (Mosque) for ourselves, our children and future Muslims.
An empty land has been secured at a place called Kubariko behind the Banjul International Airport, The Gambia.
Alhamdulilah, we are yet to build any form of structure in it so we are relying on this donation to help erect a sizeable masjid.
From the hadith of ‘Uthmaan (may Allah be pleased with him) in the sahihayn:
The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever builds a mosque, Allah (ﷻ) will build for him a house in Paradise.” [al-Bukhaari (450) and Muslim (533)]
Just to name a few, we will need CEMENT, SAND, STONES, IRON and the likes.
We will therefore be well pleased if you DONATE GENEROUSLY TOWARDS THE HOUSE OF ALLAH (ﷻ).
The donors will reap the benefits of their contribution — for as long as the mosque exist — because it will serve as continuing charity for them even after death.
It is narrated that Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased) narrated the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"When a person dies, his deeds are cut off except for three: Continuing charity, knowledge that others benefited from, and a righteous son who supplicates for him."
[Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1376: sahih]
We ask Allaah (ﷻ) to make it stand and benefit the local community until the Day of Judgement.
Aameen
