Dan's unexpected medical

My step dad went in for what was supposed to be a simple same day surgery. Complications came up during recovery and now so are the bills.

My siblings and I want to help and this is the best place we could think of. We would greatly appreciate it!

Dan was born with issues to his kidneys and naturally he ended up having issues once again in life, his right kidney died and his left was only partially working. But those issues weren't caught until this past summer of 2022. A surgery, called pyeloplasty, was now needed to remove part of that lone kidney that had become too damaged.

The surgery itself went by really well. But as Dan sat in recovery his pain couldn't be managed, he wasn't getting oxygen, and blood pressure was out of control. After x-rays, we now know he has a bowel obstruction and his body is becoming overloaded with fluid which is causing most of his problems.

It's been almost a week and we still don't have a great idea when he will get to come home. My mother is living out of a hotel while she waits for his recovery. The bills are pilling up. Please help us lift some of the stress.
