My name is Dan. I’m showing pictures of myself and my kids because anyone that has gone through the court system knows that singe dads who fell victim to divorce are shunned by society and more importantly the justice system. My ex-wife is doing her best to make sure I lose all my overnights with my kids. Right now I get 1 full day with them every other week. Outside of that it’s maybe two hours twice a week while they are in their mom’s custody. I have been dragged into a court battle in which she is represented by legal counsel. However, I cannot afford it. I quickly found out today that if I don’t get my own representation I stand to lose my kids more.

my four kids are my whole world, Robin Williams said it best “Telling me I can’t be with my children is like telling me I can’t have air, I can’t live without air and I can’t live without them.”

I will say that I have ended up homeless and am looking for a place to call home so that my kids can resume overnights with me and I can stop sleeping in the back of my car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
