Danna’s Mental Health Placement with SLV Global

Hi everyone, my name is Danna. I am a Psychology student and would be so grateful if you would read my story and helped me with my adventures.

In June 2020,  I am going to Indonesia to do a mental health placement with SLV Global. I will be running activity sessions at various government initiatives and schools, for children with specific needs as well as community outreach programs designed to keep elderly residents healthy. I’ll also be taking charge of therapeutic activity sessions at one of Indonesia's only psychiatric facilities and teaching English within the community. This is also an amazing opportunity for me to learn about the mental health industry in a country that’s very different to the UK and immerse myself in a job sector that I am very much interested in going into in the future.
