Daniel's work on Measure V

Donation protected
We are calling upon our community to show its appreciation for Measure V communications organizer Daniel DeBolt, who worked full time for seven months to pass rent control in Mountain View. The community may not have passed Measure V without Daniel’s determined organizing efforts and his love for Mountain View, where he was a newspaper reporter for nine years before the campaign.

Daniel went without a full time job to focus on Measure V and sacrificed many comforts to see it through. The landlords themselves said social media was how we managed to beat them, and Daniel worked on that tirelessly, sending mass emails, updating social media, organizing meetings, doing media interviews, writing sign messages and a hundred other little things behind the scenes.

We are raising funds for Daniel because paying him for this work is the right thing to do. He never asked to be paid until now. This will help him pay off debts, provide for his son and put down a deposit on an apartment. Join us in showing our appreciation for Daniel.
