Help to transform Lacie's life!

Hi, my name is Kim and I am fundraising for my cousin Danielle.

Danielle has a loving family and 3 beautiful children. She has recently been given the devastating news that her only daughter, Lacie-Mai, has been diagnosed with ALL Leukemia. Lacie-Mai is 12 years old and has down syndrome. Lacie is a beautiful, bright and funny girl and often has a mischievous side to her with the best intentions of making everyone smile. Anyone who has ever met Lacie knows how brilliant she is and immediately falls in love with her - its hard not too!

The reason behind the fundraising is to help and support Danielle with home renovations to ensure Lacie can rest when she is home from the chemo! Lacie's treatment spans over 2 years and 1 month with long hospital stints with short breaks at home in between treatments. The initial fundraising aim is £5,000 to support with a loft conversion for her eldest son to ensure Lacie has a room for herself when she is home, she is currently sharing with her 3 year old brother and while this worked before, Lacie needs to ensure she gets optimum amount of rest and recovery when at home.
