DANCING FOR A DREAM - YOUNG TIT STUDIOS

YOUNG TEENS IN TALENT STUDIOS is a safe space community hub where we mentor and empower young kids and teens within Mathare and its surroundings. We train kids in various skills and coach them on how to empower themselves through their talents. The Studios serve as a second home for the kids, providing a safe space to express themselves through the power of talent.

We train kids and teens to become amazing dancers, supermodels, artists, urban farmers, community empowerment leaders, and mentors. We use our skills to educate the kids by covering their school tuition fees, and we provide lunch and breakfast during practice sessions. At times, we also support them with basic needs that they may lack at home, especially since some come from vulnerable families within the slum, where accessing necessities is difficult.

OUR PROGRAMS Include;

Our programs help give kids impactful skills to benefit them now and in the future, while also keeping them occupied and away from the dangers and damage of the slums we are from. Issues such as drug abuse, violence, destructive groups, and child abuse pose high risks to so many kids in these areas.

We are grateful to have collaborated with many organisations and groups within our community that make a positive impact on those around our neighbourhood and society.

For our programs to run effectively, we need your support to ensure our activities can benefit the kids and many others. Your support and contributions will go a long way in putting a smile on the faces of so many children.

Our goal is to raise £5,000 to support our year-long programs, which include school fees for all members, 200K meals & breakfasts, urban farm supplies, free library books/maintenance, art supplies, modelling programs, mentorship programs, and our dance sessions.
