Freshwater Dance Collective presents the 30th Anniversary of Dances on the Lakewalk 2026: A Festival of Dance! Join us at 7pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, July 9, 10, and 11.

Journey through the Rose Garden to enjoy dances among the roses by dancers and choreographers from Duluth and the Twin Cities. We’ll gather to celebrate 30 years of outdoor dancing featuring some of the original choreographers. With a dash of jazz, folk, ballet, modern, and lyrical dance, we invite the community to Duluth’s Rose Garden to enjoy outdoor dances among the roses and the stunning background of Lake Superior. Bring camp chairs, lawn chairs, blankets, or enjoy sitting on the grass for comfort as you take in the performances.

This year, we need your support to pay the talented choreographers, provide technical assistance, and cover the costs of supplies and sound equipment. These essential elements ensure that the event runs smoothly and that every performance is a memorable experience for all who attend. By raising these funds, we can keep Dances on the Lakewalk free and open to everyone, sharing the beauty of dance with the entire community.
