“MY SISTER DANA IS DETAINED BY ICE ”
While she was on the way to work my sister was pulled over ,right after arrested and while being waiting to get booked ( no having driver license ) they called Ice .
MY SISTER CAME TO THIS COUNTRY WITH ASYLUM AND SHE IS IN A PROCESS ( since our mom got married and her husband adopted us ) EVEN THO SHE STILL WAS ARRESTED AND BOOKED LIKE A CRIMINAL .
My sister was detained on Thrusday 09/25 and next day (09/26 ) she had court
( they lied to her and told her she had a deportation order and that she came illegally to the country , she answered she wasn’t gonna say ,do ,sign anything w/o her lawyer being present )
mind you this was right before her court
THEY SAID WE HAVE TO PROVE my sister didn’t crossed illegally
BUT THE THING IS SHE HAS TO STAY IN A CELL / JAIL UNTIL THE CASE IS DONE OR NEXT COURT .
Just on lawyers and getting papers send from Mexico is over +$6,000
My sister haven’t anything but work and go to school . DANA CAME TO THIS COUNTRY WITH ASYLUM AT AGE 14 Started a new language and adapted to a new country , started high school ,also sports like TRACK and Music , she graduated AND AFTER THAT JUS WORKED until the day she was pulled over .
She got her first apartment at 18 ,Got her own car at 18 ,been working hard everyday since cleaning houses, cars , carpets , etc My sister now 20 never got in trouble , she got no record nor felonies , my sister don't even drink or smoke whoever knows my sister knows she a sweet girl and now she in jail mix with everyone and getting the treatment of a criminal . SO THIS IS SO UNFAIR for her but for everyone going throught the same situation.
Please anything helps

Mientras iba en camino hacia su trabajo fue parada por la policía , después fue arrestada ( por no traer licencia ), mientras ella estaba esperando para ser metida en el sistema los policías llamaron a Ice
My hermana vino a este país con asilo político y esta en un proceso ( mi mamá se caso y su esposo ciudadano la adoptó)
Aún así sin preguntar nada fue arrestada y detenida por ice como una criminal
Mi hermana fue detenida 09/25 y el día siguiente 09/26 tuve su primer corte
(Le mientieron diciendo que tenía orden de deportación y que ella había cruzado ilegal a este país , a lo que ella contestó que ella no iba decir , hacer o firmar nada sin su abogado estar presente ) esto fue justo antes de su corte )
En la primer corte dijeron que NOSOTROS TENEMOS QUE PROBAR QUE ELLA NO CRUZÓ ILEGAL pero hasta entonces ella se tiene que quedar en una celda/carcel hasta que el caso sea cerrado o hasta la próxima corte .
Solo en abogados y mandando a traer papeles de Mexico son más de $6000 así que gracias de nuevo , cualquier ayuda sirve .
Mi hermana no ah echo nada más que ir a la escuela y trabajar.
