Dan Silverwood

Hi everyone,

Katy and Phil here. We are close family friends of Dan Silverwood, who, in the early hours of Saturday morning (4/10/25), was involved in a serious road traffic accident on his way to work.

Since the accident, Dan has been in the Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital Coventry, where he has undergone major surgery, multiple CT scans, and other critical treatments.

Dan is a much-loved member of our community, and this tragedy has deeply affected so many of us.

His mum, Michelle, and stepdad, Rob, have been by his side every moment since the accident.

We have set up this GoFundMe to help ease the financial strain on Dan’s family during this incredibly difficult time — from loss of income to ongoing hospital parking costs and other expenses that quickly add up.

We understand that times are tough, but anyone who knows Dan knows that he’d be the first to step forward and help others if the situation were reversed.

Any funds not needed by the family will be donated to the ICU at University Hospital Coventry in gratitude for the amazing care Dan is receiving.
