On 29th July 2025 the Jiu-Jitsu community lost a very special person. I for one will remember him every time I put on a gi and step on the mats.

As per Oli’s wishes The Oliver Geddes Foundation has been established to support martial arts gyms facing financial hardship due to illness, unforeseen circumstances, or other challenges. It will provide more than just a short-term solution: alongside financial assistance, they will offer advice and guidance on gym management, helping to create a lasting, stable future for these vital community spaces.

So we thought what better way to help the Foundation then by attempting a challenge.

So here it is: Dan and Ruben’s 24hour Rolling Marathon

Start Time: 11am

Date: 11th October 2025

Location: RGA Buckingham

The challenge will consist of 24hrs of

-20 Minute rounds.

-20 Burpees on the hour every hour.

Why the 20s? Well that's how long Oli trained Jiu-Jitsu for.

There will be one of us on the mat the entire 24hrs! Breaks just to cover refuelling and toilet trips but hopefully no breakdowns!!

So please donate whatever you can. If you want to come and support us and grab a round with us or even just roll yourselves. You are all more than welcome, the gym will be open the entire time.
