Daniel McNamee Family Fundraiser

Daniel McNamee (Weatogue, CT) had a huge heart and was incredibly generous with his love and healing talents. He touched the lives of everyone he met with his positivity, courage, insight, encouragement, humor, and joy for life. Dan passed unexpectedly on May 18, 2023, and left behind a beautiful family of four, as well as parents, siblings, friends, clients, and caring neighbors. Dan was always very generous. We hope to return his generosity by pulling together his broad community to support his immediate family with a financial gift.

As a healer, Dan was intuitive, patient, insightful, sensitive, compassionate, challenging, direct, and decisive. Through therapeutic modalities (massage, energy healing, Reiki, palmistry, Tarot readings, and more), Dan had a unique way of helping others, giving them incredible hope for the future, instilling confidence in their personal and professional potential, and encouraging them to trust, practice, and step forward.

Dan's family was the most important thing in his life and his first priority. As a father and life partner, he was loyal, supportive, deeply loving, and a hard-working provider. We know that the well-being of his family would be his first concern in this situation and that he would be enormously grateful for any support they receive.

Dan's family would never directly ask for financial support, so we are asking for them. The need is genuine and urgent, and we would like to reciprocate Dan’s extensive generosity by giving to his family both short and long-term. Initially, the family has immediate/emergency needs to cover costs such as childcare and living expenses while they mourn their loss. We would also like to offer some support for long-term financial and employment solutions. Dan was an amazing provider and the primary breadwinner. It will take time for his family to mourn, find their footing, and gain traction toward taking over the financial responsibilities he so beautifully handled.
