I raced with Dan for quite a few years and we have a similar family set up. Dan was killed in the Isle of Man TT this year about 8 miles into the course and when I heard the news it flattened me. Unfortunately Dans life insurance have failed to pay out and that has left Heleyna, Joey and Pheobe in a really difficult position which is the last thing they needed! I aim to raise enough money to at least cover an average months bills by running 50km at the Kendal Mountain Festival (Saturday 21st November) which is about 30 miles, the same distance Dan had left on the course on that day. I want to finish that lap for him and give his family some help! The more I can raise the more we can help.
