Dakota NICU stay and support

Donation protected

Hi everyone! Baby Dakota was born on August 26th with a rare syndrome called Joubert Syndrome. As a result, she has needed to be in NICU for quite awhile, with no clear end in sight. We are working hard to get her healthy and home. However we've hit a couple snags in the process. We started this fund raiser to help with some of those immediate needs.

Dakota is reliant on breast milk for her feedings. Due to a milk sensitivity, most formulas make her sick and she is unable to handle them. I currently pump to provide for her feeding needs. However, recently my home/wall breast pump has broke and my wireless pump motor has begun to fail. I cannot currently afford to replace them or rent one from the hospital. Our goal of $400 would go toward getting a new wireless pump and the supplies needed to keep providing milk for her.

On top of that, due to Dakota now needing a tracheotomy and a g-tube, I will need to become a certified caregiver for her. This means additional classes and registrations with the state. These classes and fees can easily add up to hundreds of dollars. Any extra or leftover funds will be used to pay for these classes and registrations.

Please help any way you can. We appreciate all your generosity and thank you so much.
