DAFFODILS DREAMS - WIGAN 5K

Hi everyone, my name is Craig, and on Sunday 16th March, both my Daughter and I will be running the Wigan 5K in support of Daffodils Dreams.

A charity very close to my heart for multiple reasons, that support Children and Families living in poverty in the borough of Wigan and Leigh.

Sadly, in 2024 statistics showed that up to 15,000 children (a quarter of the child population of wigan) are living in poverty.

Maureen and the team work very closely with services across the borough to provide support for these families. From providing clothing hampers to families in need, to providing presents on Christmas morning to those who would otherwise go without.

This is an amazing cause, and one close to my heart. Me and Rhea have been training, sometimes at 5am in a morning to make sure we achieve this as we try to make a positive difference to the lives of all the children of the borough.

Every child deserves a chance at life.
