Billy’s tragic death leaves family in need

There are no words to describe the immeasurable pain of the sudden loss of our brother, friend, son, uncle, talented musician, and hardworking man, Billy.  If you had asked him, his most accomplished and favorite title was - “Daddy”

Billy was a single dad to his precious 4-year-old baby girl, Luna, and soon to be born son, William Earl Carden IV. 

Even against the odds of troubled and challenging circumstances, Luna’s happiness and safety was his life's purpose.  He moved to Palm Coast a few years ago in order to provide a safe and loving home for Luna, working hard long hours to provide for her needs.  All the while, he approached his role as a father with deep love and gratitude – always wearing the sweetest gentlest infectious smile.  

A smile that if you knew him, I know you will miss as much as we will. 

This tragedy has left his life's most prized gift, his daughter, Luna, vulnerable in so many ways. Billy was solely responsible for his daughter's welfare, while always lovingly tending to his Mother’s and Grandmother’s needs as well.  Never has there been a more selfless sweet soul.

As life-long family friends of Billy’s sisters (as you know, when you are friends with one person in this family, you truly are a friend to all), their love runs deep, and they want to continue caring for the family Billy cherished so much.  Since so many friends and family members have expressed feeling helpless during this time, all wanting to know what they can do to help….A fundraising page has been created on the family’s behalf.

We ask that you circulate to as many people as you can. Use your social platforms, church group, community and all resources.  It would greatly ease a burden on their already broken hearts that will never heal from such a tragedy.  Your contribution will enable them to carry on with the financial responsibilities of caring for Luna without their dad’s income and support.  

Nothing on this earth would mean more to Billy than the peace of mind knowing that his family’s needs are being met. That would be the single most important and final gift you could give to him.
