In Loving Memory of Peter and Phyllis
Supporting St. Francis Hospice Dublin & HAIL
In just three heartbreaking months, our family lost two extraordinary people—my wonderful dad, Peter, in January 2025, and my beloved mother-in-law, Phyllis, in October 2024. The hole they’ve left in our lives is immense, and we miss them both more than words can say.
To honour their memory and the impact they had on all of us, I’m taking on a personal challenge in 2025 to raise funds for the two charities that supported them—and our family—with love, care, and compassion.
In October 2025, I’ll be running both the Chicago and Dublin Marathons, just two weeks apart. For me, it’s a massive physical and emotional challenge, but one that feels deeply meaningful.
The Dublin Marathon in particular holds a very special place in my heart. I ran it for the first time in 2024—and just one day later, Phyllis passed away. That race, and the strength it took to complete it, now feels forever connected to her. Her courage and resilience carried me through every mile, and it’s her memory that will keep me going again this year.
The Charities I'm Supporting
St. Francis Hospice Dublin
Health and Medicine | Dublin | RCN: 20027193
In Phyllis’s final days, the incredible team at St. Francis Hospice cared for her—and all of my wife's family—with immense warmth and compassion. They gave her comfort and dignity at the end of her life, and offered unwavering support to the entire family.
HAIL (Housing Association for Integrated Living Ltd.)
Human Services | Dublin | RCN: 20013394
For over 15 years, HAIL provided my dad with stable housing and the social care he needed to live with independence and dignity. Their quiet, consistent support made a world of difference to his life, and to ours.
These two charities are deeply woven into our story. The care they offered went far beyond services—it gave us peace, hope, and support when we needed it most.
All funds raised will be equally divided between St. Francis Hospice and HAIL. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help honour my Dad's and Phyllis’s memory, and ensure these life-changing services continue to reach others.
Thank you so much for your support.
