It all happened so fast, but our little bundle of joy was welcomed into the world. Jayce, who was born at 33 weeks and was measuring ten days behind on the growth chart for babies. He entered the world at 3# 11 oz. This meant that Jayce would be spending a great deal of time in NICU. The first week of being in NICU Jayce dropped to 3# 2 oz., but he has slowly gained weight and currently hit 4# 11 oz. He had been on a feeding tube, cpap, but has recently been taken off everything and is now eating from a bottle and hoping to come home soon.
It has been difficult to balance Tina’s time and care for Jayce and needs for older son, Tydell. before getting to go home.
However, big brother Tydell finally got to meet his little brother and what a great helper he is going to be for Tina. It has been extremely hard on all of them being away from Tydell. Chadd returned to Colstrip for work as the bills are starting to stack up. Chadd and Tydell are together, while Tina is in Billings with Jayce. We cannot wait until they can all be together in one place. Jayce has been in the NICU for 25 days so far. Tina has been with him and medical bills are piling up.
