My cousin, Elijah Smith, was visiting his family and friends in Denver Colorado from California. On 6/12/23 my cousin and his friends were downtown celebrating a birthday until early morning hours of 6/13/23. This is also the night the Denver Nuggets won the championship. As they were leaving an establishment, there was a fight which Elijah was trying to break up, Officer Adam Glasby of the DPD came from behind Elijah, picked him up in the air and slammed him on his head as you see can see on his mothers instagram page (treats_by_vita). Elijah has major injuries and will have a long road to recovery. As he has a traumatic brain injury and a brain bleed. He is currently stuck in Colorado, due to his injuries he is not able to travel back home. This go fund me will help with any on going bills as he is not able to work for months.
