The pool heater at the Shames JCC Aquatics Center is broken but when life gives you ice cubes... you simply awaken your inner polar bear! Join us for hot chocolate and cookies poolside, followed by a community open plunge. But first, pledge to get your favorite staff member—or least favorite— into frigid 60-degree water! Your pledge pushes them in! The more we raise, the more staff members take the plunge.

All donations support the Shames JCC’s Hammerheads Swim Team and provide Learn-to-Swim scholarships so all young children can learn to be safe in and around the water. And because we are a 501C3, all donations are tax-deductible.

7:15 - 7:45 PM: “On Thin Ice” Staff Plunge-raiser
7:45 - 8:30 PM: Open Community Plunge (16 years +)
