Emergency Help!

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Janine Cote. I’m writing to start an Emergency Fund for our daughter Chelsea and her husband Adam. They were evicted from their rental home when the rent skyrocketed at the end of January in conjunction with the loss of Adam’s thriving business, his work van engine died, their car was hit broadside with Chelsea in the passenger seat by a drunk driver and their finances have been drained. They’ve tried everything to avoid being homeless. They have attempted to sell their possessions to have some finances, unfortunately all their assets are gone. They are currently homeless, thus far they’re going to lose everything they purchased during their 3 years of marriage as they can’t afford to move it to or keep it in a storage unit. Presently they have very little food. Over the past week, they have been making many phone calls to try to find help. They’ve applied for every available help in their area, though currently they’ve had little response. We live 1,000 miles away in Connecticut, and are basically retired.
Chelsea is continuing a 5 year cancer treatment plan in pill form and waiting for her final reconstruction surgery in the city of Asheville North Carolina. Many of you know that I left the rest of our family in 2021 and moved to NC when Chelsea was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I moved back last April 1st. Presently we have been able to help them stay for a few days in a low income motel in Candler NC , the town where they have lived, but that’s only until 10:00 am Monday 2/6/2023. After that they are homeless.
At the request of many wonderful, prayerful individuals I’m starting this page for those who can willingly help to donate whatever you’re able to on their behalf.
I thank everyone in advance for helping our family, I’m positive that they can get back on their feet with help. Adam is an excellent worker, a highly trained stone mason willing to relocate. I can’t imagine them being homeless, but this is their reality. If you would like to help them, you can do so through GoFundMe, or by contacting me directly if you know me. Since their accounts are frozen I will be forwarding them all funds directly from own checking account here in CT.
May God bless you for your help. Thank you again.
