My heart is so broken. My daughter, Caitlin, and her family lost everything in a house fire on Sunday, August 31, 2025. She is the strongest and most amazing person you will ever meet and has been handling everything life can possibly throw at a person and doing an amazing job. She and Gage have 2 little boys, ages 3 and 2. Gage was involved in an accident almost a year and a half ago that left him paralyzed from the chest down. Not only do their little kids depend on Caitlin, but she also takes care of Gage.

On Sunday afternoon, they returned home from a weekend at her dad’s camp. She unloaded their vehicle from the weekend and they left to go pick up their 2 boys. Just minutes later, she received a notification from the alarm company about a fire. She turned the vehicle around to go back home and saw the smoke, but it was too late. Part of the house was already in flames and quickly traveled through the rest of the house.
