Today is a day of celebration! 4th of July, a day that represents the the Declaration of Independence and the Birth of the United States if America as an independent Nation.
Now, are we celebrating freedom and independence when we deny these basic human rights to immigrants?
the Phrase: " ... all men are created equal, they are endowed by the Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness ..." does not it apply also to immigrants?

Let's Celebrate our freedom,  let's celebrate that we live in a country were we can believe in whoever we want, we can dress however we want, we can eat whatever we want, and above all, we get to choose either we do the right thing in helping each other, or we ignore the situation and look the other way, that's the kind of freedom we have, that is the kind of freedom this administration is denying to the people that are trying exercise those rights, just the way the 13 colonies did back on time.

A Kid's drawing always reflect the feelings they are experiencing: love, compassion, anger, fear, loneliness, etc... when your kid makes a drawing for you, and it shows a mommy and daddy holding hands, a beautiful landscaping, with a shinny sun, big trees, many many flowers, butterflies, etc, we know that our kid is happy, that he/she feel safe, loved, taken care of, we know those signs; so when we look at these kid's drawings I cannot feel anything but anger, frustration, disgusts, sadness... because these are not the drawings of real criminals paying for their crimes, these are KID'S DRAWING FOR GOD'S SAKE!!! what are we doing as a country for them??? we are creating future disturbed teens, we are traumatizing kids!!!
Please join our fight to end this inhumane treatment to our neighbor who come running away from violence, extreme poverty, and to get their families a safe life.

Click on this link for more detail about what really is going on inside those "processing centers", these are testimonials from people that were kept in those centers about the way they were abused, humiliated, with absolutely no reason for it.

Do you know...?
People say: "I am ok with immigrants coming to USA, but the legal way." but immigrants are denied that opportunity at the middle of the Int. bridges? that is why they opt for crossing in between ports of entry; once they cross, they DO NOT run away, they turn themselves in to CBP and ask for asylum.

People say immigrants are treated like animals inside those concentration camps, (that is actually what they are), when in reality they are treated worse than animals. when they ask for milk for their kids, the officers spill the milk on the floor in front of the mother and the kid needing the milk.

Immigrants are not allowed to take a shower, regardless of how many day they remain in custody.

women are not provided with feminine products, regardless how long they are in custody.
they sleep on the restroom floor, which in not cleaned of course.
and we wonder how come immigrants are dying from stomach viruses?

check out these links to know a bit more about the situation. and please, join us in our fight for Human Rights and Dignity!
