Hello to all friends, family and everyone in between. I am reaching out in hopes to help provide my mother Kathy, with some financial relief during this very difficult time. Last year she got diagnosed with stage 4 uterine cancer and has since, been trying to financially recover. As a widowed, unable to work, single mother, coming up with the funds to pay for all the medical expenses for her chemotherapy has been highly stressful. She currently has insurance; however, the financial assistance only extends so far. She has recently finished her CHEMO and is now routinely going to Orlando for her radiation. Radiation is 5 days a week for approximately 6 weeks and Kathy currently lives in Port St. John. This fundraiser will not only serve to help her with her constant commute to Orlando but will help in keeping her above water with her bills. The CHEMO has since drained her savings accounts and the financial burden it has presented has started to extend into her daily life. Not having much money for groceries, gas and basic necessities. Times are tough for everyone, and we all battle with some kind of financial struggle in one way or another. Me and my family ask that you contribute what you can and if you are unable, to please share with anyone you may know who might help.
