In doing outreach to shelters we ask front line staff to notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions of their clients, their preference of individually packaged or buffet style meals, and if home cooked meals are accepted. We have partnered up with several restaurants in the city who can assist with meal preparation for organizations not accepting home cooked meals at this time due to COVID-19.


Typically we reserve dates with shelters 2-3 weeks in advance to ensure we are not colliding with their scheduled meals and for our volunteers to allow them the appropriate time to prepare. We are flexible and can accommodate for 3-5 days’ notice for groups 35 and under.



At this time we have not made any direct contact with those in shelters, we deliver the meals to staff working at each organization as per their drop off instructions while wearing the appropriate PPE.



With your donation you can help an existing at home cooking team purchase ingredients towards a delicious meal they are preparing for groups of 25 and over, or you can sponsor a lunch for one of our partnered organizations. The smallest group we work with is 25, for $100 you can help provide 25 youth with a Pizza Party lunch, a hearty Sheppard's Pie meal, a taste of Caribbean grill and many more options.
