Dear friends and family
The Jamaican community in St Elizabeth, Westmoreland, St James, Montego Bay and other areas have been struck by an unprecedented disaster, and I am reaching out to you for help as we begin the long and difficult journey to recovery.
On 28/10/25, the area was severely affected by a hurricane. The damage has been overwhelming. Homes have been destroyed, families displaced, and vital infrastructure has been wiped out. Many of our loved ones have lost everything, and the road to recovery feels long and uncertain.
My name is Ann Kinch, and my heart is heavy for my family and friends in Jamaica who have been deeply affected by this tragedy. Though I am based in the United Kingdom, my roots and loved ones remain in Jamaica, and I am committed to doing everything I can to support them during this difficult time.
All funds raised will go directly toward helping those in need — providing food supplies, clean water, emergency care, and assistance to help families live more safely and comfortably as they rebuild their lives. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and bring hope to those who are struggling.
This GoFundMe is an appeal to raise funds to support the rebuilding efforts and provide immediate relief to those who are struggling to survive. Your generous donations will help.
