3rd Annual D4G Backpack Giveaway

Hello everyone I'm coming to you to ask for your help. I am planning another community funday and bookbag giveaway for kids of the East Garfield community. This event is A Day of Greatness backpack giveaway/Community funday.  This will be our 3rd year doing this event. Last year we gave over 300 backpacks with school supplies, this year we are trying to do the same, but we will also be working with the Dr. King Boys and Girls club this year. A portion of the money raised will go towards sponsoring membership to the boys and girls club to get our teens off the streets and back into a positive environment. So we are asking for your help once again to make this happen. It's so much negativity going on in Chicago, so we want to give our kids the opportunity to have a brighter future. August 17, 2019 Location will be in the back of Willa  Cather Elementary 2908 W. Washington blvd Chicago, Illinois 60612 Time: 10:30 until we say it's time to leave. Backpacks will be handed out on a first come first serve bases and child must be present to receive backpack.... Thanks in advance...
