Donation protected

Cookies for Community has been created to provide baked cookies for first responders, essential workers and under-served and/or underappreciated workers.
Funds raised will first be applied to the application fee to establish Cookies for Community as a non-profit (minimum of $275.00), cover registering the business name ($50.00), acquiring a food handler's card ($10.00) and then cover the costs for the ingredients: butter, eggs, flour, sugar, chocolate chips, etc. (constantly evolving) to make the aforementioned cookies and other baked goods.
As soon as I get the money to meet the first three expenses I can establish Cookies for Community as a non-profit. The fact is that I have been baking and distributing baked goods for the last several years, Cookies for Community just formalizes what I am already doing but will allow me to better afford these expenses and expand the scope of the giving. The photo is of a platter given to the maintenance staff where I work.
Any and all contributions will be greatly appreciated and once the non-profit is established, contributors will receive a thank you letter with a receipt so that the donation will be tax-deductible.
