I am raising funds for my close friends’ son Nicholas Marrero who has autism and suddenly lost his loving father, Miguel Marrero, after succumbing to complications from autoimmune hepatitis.  Nicolas is non-verbal and will require life-long care. 

 

Nicholas was diagnosed with Autism at 29 months. Nicholas is a loving sweet young man whose heart is as big as his smile. Miguel was his protector and his voice. His daddy was his best friend and biggest fan.  Miguel will be remembered as a beautiful soul and loving husband, father and friend. Miguel was the father of 4 children he adored. He will be missed by all, but especially by his youngest son Nicholas, the one that relied on him most.

 

His loving wife Alessandra is not only left to deal with the loss of her husband but is also plagued with the uncertain toll it will take on Nicholas. Times will be very hard without Miguel.

 

We are grateful for the circle of loving people that surround Alessandra and Nicholas.
