Bucks for Bonnie - victim of fraud by caregivers

Bonnie Petton has recently fell victim to fraud by several trusted caregivers to the tune of $58,000

Bonnie lives with Lou Gehrig's disease and has very limited mobility which requires regular care at home by professional caregivers. Unfortunately in November of 2023 Bonnie noticed a large sum of money missing from her bank account and reported this to the Amherst Police.

After a 13 months investigation, 3 caregivers have been charged with theft over $5000 related to their interactions with Bonnie.

As Bonnie attempts to recover the lost funds, we've started this GoFundMe to help ease the burden as much as possible.

Let's show Bonnie that our community DOES NOT TOLERATE such unethical practices and help her get ahead so that she can continue to receive the special in-home care she deserves.
