Napier men’s football will be running a 10k every single day of February to spread awareness for Cystic fibrosis. This cause is especially close to our hearts as our 2’s assistant gaffer and former player, Lewis Muego, lives with cystic fibrosis. Lewis is incredibly active and regularly takes part in endurance events such as marathons and Ironman competitions. Unfortunately, due to a current injury and upcoming back surgery, he may be unable to compete in the London Marathon this April.
As a result, we have come together as a club to take on Fab Feb, raising money and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in support of Lewis and everyone affected by cystic fibrosis.By running a 10k everyday we are looking to spread awareness for physical, mental and emotional health. Staying active everyday is a key factor to getting on with your week and being productive. If it’s doing physical exercise with yourself, going a walk with friends, playing a sport part of a team or even getting out the house to meet new people. It all adds up to creating a perfect balance throughout the week to make your week as productive as it can be.
Want to join me in making a difference? Edinburgh Napier Men’s football are raising money to benefit Cystic Fibrosis Trust, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
