Becoming a Veterinarian has been my dream since I was a child. Now that I have completed my first year of Vet School at ST. George University,  I could not be happier. My family had me in saddle prior to walking, so naturally I have a passion for Equine Medicine.  In my persuit of knowledge I have been given the oppurtunity to learn hands on in Kildare, Ireland this summer, Horse Capital of Ireland! The externship is 6 weeks long and I will be working alongside the vets and assigned patients. Much of the work at this hospitial is foal medicine and ER work which is an invaluable experiance that books can not offer.

Externships are unpaid learning opportunities. This fund will help me with flights, housing and food. I am opening this fund now so that I can book my flights early to try to get the best rates. Also I will be posting lots of pictures so everyone can follow my adventures!
