Cycling for mothers and babies in Sierra Leone

So we have completed this challenge. Russell everested Middle Brother in 22 hours and 203km. Jett also completed his climb in 1 hour and 4 mins. Donations are still open and we welcome your support however big or small. Together we are saving lives.
On May 4th, I am planning to complete an Everesting to raise money for the Aminata Maternal Foundation. I will start in the dead of night on a hill near Port Macquarie and aim to complete the challenge in about 16 hours. My wife and 8 year old son Jett will also support me by completing one 6km ascent with an elevation of 526m
What is an Everesting?
Everesting is an activity in which cyclists ascend and descend a given hill multiple times, in order to have cumulatively climbed 8848 meters (the elevation of Mt. Everest). Everesting is considered the most difficult climbing challenge in the world but just to make sure I'm going to do it on a dirt road and on a mountain bike.
Why?
I would like to use my gift of persistence and love of riding a bike to raise money for those less fortunate. 1 in 8 women die as a result of pregnancy-related issues. A child born in Sierra Leone is 200 times more likely to die than if it was born in Australia.
Why the Aminata Maternal Foundation?
Aminata has an inspiring personal testimony. The foundation is focused on improving the health and well-being of women and children in Sierra Leone and improving some of the worst maternal and infant mortality rates in the world.
How can I help?

A donation of just $30 covers the cost of 5 children to visit our clinic.
Just $50 provide one woman with a safe birth at the foundation's clinic.
$100 will cover the monthly salary for two midwives.
