Cycle Event for our Community

Blossom in Somerset Ltd is a Day Service for adults with a variety of learning disabilities. We offer a diverse and exciting programme, using a person centred approach, to deliver a range of stimulating and empowering activities. These are designed to improve social inclusion, communication skills and promote self confidence in a welcoming and caring atmosphere. We utilize our individual strengths and interests to engage in our community and local environment and have fostered collaborative opportunities with a number of charities and community projects.

On the 29th of May 2025, the clients and staff of Blossom in Somerset Ltd are taking part in a 6-hour continuous cycling event at our hub in Bridgwater. We will take turns on an Exercise Cycle and keep the wheels moving for the duration of our "working day".

We are not doing this for ourselves, as we are hoping to raise £500 for The Mingle Cafe. Eva and her team have been incredibly supportive and welcoming to us and the wider community in Bridgwater. The Mingle Cafe offers mental health support through a variety of projects, including Talk Club, Community Employment Hubs, as well as facilitating numerous creative community events and workshops.

Blossom in Somerset Ltd is proud to be associated with this fantastic enterprise and hope to raise these funds for their continued work in Bridgwater.
