Dear friends, followers, and kind-hearted strangers,

I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d have to write something like this—where I’d be reaching out to others not with entertainment or advice, but with raw vulnerability, honesty, and a deeply personal plea. But here I am, with my heart in my hands, asking for help to save the home that means everything to my family.

I’m a mum of two beautiful, strong, and sensitive daughters—Tosia, who is 11 and on the autism spectrum, and Pola, who is 7, full of curiosity and love. Every single day, I do my best to give them a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where they can feel secure, grow emotionally, and just be children. They are my whole world.

We live with my mum, who is not only an incredible grandmother to my girls, but also someone who now needs full-time care. She suffers from severe COPD—a chronic, progressive lung disease—and is fully housebound. She cannot manage stairs at all. Her bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen are all on the ground floor of our current home, and this setup is absolutely essential to her daily survival and comfort. Any relocation to a property with stairs or a less accessible layout would put her physical health and even her life at risk. It’s not just about convenience—it’s about keeping her safe.

Due to the terms of a recent divorce settlement, I now need to raise a significant amount of money to pay my ex-husband his share in order to transfer the home into my name. My long-term plan is to remortgage the house solely under my name, but unfortunately, my solo affordability as a single parent is not enough to cover the current full mortgage amount. This is the painful truth I’ve had to face—and why I am now asking for help.

Without the funds to bridge the gap and cover the required amount, I will not be able to secure the mortgage, and we will be forced to sell and move out. This would mean leaving the only environment where my mum can be safely cared for, and the only place that currently allows us to live with some stability and peace.

If we are unable to raise the funds, our family would have no choice but to move to a significantly smaller property in a less desirable area, where housing costs align with my income alone. That would likely mean changing schools, disrupting my daughters' routines, and losing access to the community and support networks that have become so vital—especially for Tosia, who thrives on predictability and familiarity. The emotional, practical, and mental impact of such a move would be dramatic and long-lasting. We’d be starting over under much more difficult circumstances.

I’ve tried everything I can on my own, but I’ve come to realise that I can’t do this alone. And so, with humility and hope, I’m turning to you—our community, our friends, our followers, and even compassionate strangers—for help.

Many of you know us from our family TikTok page, where we’ve built a beautiful community of over 520,000 people. We've shared laughter, challenges, the ups and downs of life, and the special moments that come with raising a neurodiverse child and being a multigenerational household. You've been with us through so many chapters—and now, I’m asking you to help us write the next one.

If every one of our followers donated just 25p—less than the price of a chocolate bar—we would reach our goal. Every single pound, every share, and every kind message counts. No act of generosity is too small. Your support could literally be the difference between staying in the place that holds us together—or starting from scratch, with everything that matters most at risk.

And I want to be completely transparent: if we are unable to meet our goal and I am ultimately unable to remortgage the home we currently live in, I will use all of the funds raised toward a deposit for another property. We will need to go somewhere after all, and your support—whether it saves our current home or helps us secure a new one—will still be a lifeline that provides us with safety and stability.

Please, if you are able to donate, we would be beyond grateful. And if you can’t donate but are willing to share our story, that alone is an act of kindness that could help us reach someone who can.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with us in this incredibly difficult time. Your support means more than I can express in words—but please know that your compassion is helping to carry us through.

With love and deepest gratitude
Anna Tosia and Pola
