Cwmbran RFC Under 16's tour 2026 Sam's head shave!

We are looking to raise money for Cwmbran Rugby Club Under 16”s Tour for 2026.

If we reach our target of £1000 then I have decided that I will take the plunge and shave my head!

As some of you may know, this is no easy feat! After being diagnosed with breast cancer a few years back, my biggest fear was having chemotherapy and losing all of my hair. I was fortunate enough that the doctors believed that radiotherapy alone would do the job and have been blessed with a full head of hair ever since! Which is more than I can say for my partner Mark, who I'm sure had more hair when we met!

Seriously though, there are many out there who are not as lucky. This is why I have chosen this particular form of fundraising, for a team that throughout my recovery has provided unconditional support and love.

The team means a lot to our family and although this may be one of the most nail-biting decisions that I have ever made, I want to do everything that I can to help these boys go on tour.
