Fundraiser for the Caregiver of

Mr. Clarence “CW” Langston

Dear Family, Friends and All Contributors,

First, I want to thank you for taking the time to read about our efforts to raise money for an amazing caregiver for my brother-in-law, Clarence. Unfortunately, caregivers are underpaid and often time unappreciated for all the hard work that they do selflessly. They are priceless to our community as they provide life-changing care for millions of people worldwide and our caregiver has proven to be a great help to my family and I. Today I ask for help and I have created this fundraiser to get assistance to raise funds to pay the salary of our caregiver that assists my family.

My brother-in-law, Clarence (C.W. as he is affectionately called), has been diagnosed with lung cancer which has left him incapacitated. He is now at the stage between hospice and home care. He is unable to walk and needs assistance with personal care continuously. C.W. has been an upstanding role model for the community as he provided many pro bono services to underserved neighborhoods. Some of the many talents that he shared were landscaping services, singing appearances, transportation and barber services. My sister helps as much as she can but with a full-time job, it is impossible to give full-time care to her husband. Even with her income, it is extremely difficult to pay for expenses as care is becoming increasingly expensive for their family. Seeing my sister and brother-in-law in this situation has truly broken my heart so I ask now for your help to cover some of the expenses for C.W.’s caregiver.

My fundraising goal is $7,000.00 and it would help tremendously he currently has not transitioned into hospice care and the insurance will not cover the expense. We are working tirelessly to get help and our prayer is that insurance begins to cover some of the expenses. I ask now that you find it in your heart to contribute to this fundraiser and share this information with your family, friends, and social media. A gift of any amount would mean the world to my family and me. A simple share could help make such a huge difference for a deserving family.
