Fly Derek to Canada

If anyone were to ask Derek where his heart belongs, I'm sure Derek would be quick to respond that a part of his soul belongs to the mountains and his family in Canada.

It's been 12 years since Derek’s return to his homeland, where his two sisters and two brothers live. This fundraiser is a community effort to fly Derek back to his Canadian roots where he may hike the Kootenays, eat muskrat stew and visit his family. The funds raised will be used to cover airfares and travel costs for the time Derek is overseas.

The initial goal of $5,000 is a foundational stepping stone and will cover a portion of the trip’s costs. Any amount raised above this initial goal will help to cover the remaining costs associated with the trip. Our final goal (to exceed $5000) will allow for a spacious and easeful journey for Derek.
