Cascadia Volunteer Advocacy

Cascadia Volunteer Advocacy is a Bellingham-based non-profit homeless outreach organization. Our mission is to promote harm reduction, survivability and resiliency for the street community and their advocates using compassionate social interaction as our basis.
We help raise the basic health/hygiene standard for the street community by distributing care packages with basic hygiene necessities. We also host community meal services where members of the street community can eat for free and socialize.

At this point, all monetary donations will be used to:

     1) Put together Carepacks with basic hygiene necessities
     2) Host meal services where members of the street community can eat for free and socialize

In addition to monetary donations, we require the following items for the care packages:

Disposable Razors
Single Bar Soap
Travel Toothbrush
Tampons, Pads (pads preferred)
Disposable Tissues
Travel Shampoo/Conditioner
Socks
Bandaids
Emergency Blanket (Foil Space Blanket)
Chapstick
Waterproof Matches
P38 Can Opener
Cough Drops
Q-tips
Baby Wipes

If our program is successful we hope to expand to other branches all across Cascadia!

In addition to monetary/supply contributions, we also need willing and compassionate volunteers to:
