As the baristas of the Starbucks on Cusick Rd. in Alcoa, we are joining in on the nation-wide strike with other union baristas across the country. As members of Starbucks Workers United, we have the opportunity and responsibility to use our collective power to make positive changes for partners and customers alike. Starbucks is refusing to bargain in good faith to complete our first contract along with failing to resolve hundreds of labor law violations, and we intend to strike until that changes! Our union strike fund will be providing base funds to partners while we are on the picket line.
