It is truly heartbreaking to share the news that December 4, 2019, Liz Cushing passed away after a long and courageous battle. Liz was a beautiful, loving & devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She touched the lives of many and was truly a blessing to all that knew her. Liz was gifted with an incredible heart, radiant smile, contagious laughter, and a caring generous spirit that was unlike any other. She saw the good in everyone and had the gift of making a everyone feel important and valued by her attentiveness and genuine curiosity in just a simple conversation.
Liz was passionate about life and found her true love and soulmate in her sweet husband and best friend, Kevin. Married 20 years, they shared 4 amazing children, Patrick (18), Grace (16), Kaleigh (15) and Sean (14), whom Liz loved with all of her heart. Kevin and Liz were a team in every sense of the word. They worked together tirelessly to raise four faithful, kind, generous, fun-loving and grateful children. She had an incredible calling as a mother and demonstrated such pride and pure happiness in every moment of their lives. Liz enriched the lives of her family with her commitment, strong faith and abundance of love. Needless to say, Liz’s loss leaves an indescribable void in her family.
Liz’s impact on the lives of others was also evidenced in the "family" she made within her community. She always went above and beyond to do the right thing, to help others, to give support and advice or offer her warm, genuine smile or loving hugs. The reciprocal outpouring of love and support from this community has left the family humbled and speechless.
Family and friends instantly began reaching out to support Kevin, Patrick, Grace, Kaleigh and Sean and this page has been set up in response. If you can, please help ease the burden of this incredible loss to Liz’s family by contributing to this memorial fund set up in her honor that will directly support Kevin and their beautiful children. All funds raised on this page will go to support the immediate needs of the family as well as assist with the children’s college tuitions as 3 of them will be in school together in just a few years.
