Curtin Muslim Students Association Daily Iftar

Assalamu Alaikum everyone!

This fundraiser aims to support the daily iftar provision at Curtin University. Through the Curtin Muslim Student Association (CMSA), we have been able to offer daily iftar meals to the Muslim community, thanks to the generous contributions of individuals like you. However, this year, we seek your assistance to sustain this noble initiative and ensure that Muslim students at Curtin University can continue to break their fast together during Ramadan.

Your contribution to this cause is not merely a donation; it's an investment in fostering a sense of community and solidarity among Muslim students. By supporting this fundraiser, you not only fulfill a charitable obligation but also partake in the immense spiritual rewards promised for feeding a fasting person during Ramadan, as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said the following,

"Whoever gives iftar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest." (Tirmidhi)

“Fasting is a shield [from sin], and charity removes sin like water extinguishes the fire.” (Tirmidhi)

Allah says in Surah Baqarah, “Who will lend to Allah a good loan (Charity) which Allah will multiply many times over? It is Allah ˹alone˺ who decreases and increases ˹wealth˺. And to Him you will ˹all˺ be returned”.
