Curtain Call Kids - Theatre Workshop for Kids

Hi, 

My name is Jaimie Walsh and I am currently an 11th grader at Miami Beach Senior High School. I have been involved in theatre for over 7 years and wanted to share my passion for it and all it has taught me, such as; responsibility, confidence, public speaking, reading, critical thinking. Curtain Call Kids is a nonprofit organization I have started to help elementary-aged children develop social skills critical for development, in an engaging and fun environment. Students will learn basic theatre techniques while simultaneously gaining confidence, improving critical thinking, and learning how to harness their emotions. Currently, the program is being held at Ruth K Broad, and is putting on The Little Mermaid at the end of the year. In order to make the show special for the children, we need to purchase scripts, costumes, props, and more.
