Hi everyone,

We are back for the 2nd annual run! Last year was a smashing success with us getting the opportunity to donate close to CHF 13,000, thanks to all of you! The money made a huge impact for the kids, their camp, and Cura's projects.

This year, once again a couple of friends and I recently decided to run the Glacier 3000 run. The race consists of two segments: a 17km run and a 10km hike up the Glacier 3000 totalling 1,600 vertical meters. Our goal is once again to raise money for the Cura Children's Foundation founded by my mom Caroline and her good friend Carina Jones.

The foundation focuses on providing "a more caring world for children" through local outreach and targets project that deliver comprehensive support to children and families in need. Currently, they are in the middle of their third annual Cura Children's Inclusion Camp.

The campers are a mixture of children with disabilities and those without as well as professional therapists and healthcare workers. At camp, the kids get to escape ordinary life and engage in a variety of activities in the mountains from horseback riding and hiking to cake baking. By having kids of all backgrounds engage in the same activities the camp hopes to create a feeling of inclusion and foster a sense of belonging for children with disabilities.

Having worked for the camp two years in a row cooking meals for the kids, I saw first-hand how much joy a simple week of summer camp can bring to these kids and their families! Any donations of any size are much appreciated and will do a lot of good for these kids!
