Hello everyone. After several meetings and hard work we are pleased to announce a new committee who are working tirelessly to get Borland Trout fishery and stretches of the River Lugar back to its best following years of harsh treatment, embezzlement and neglect. Cumnock angling club recently held the first "clean up day" which was a massive success, but it showed the amount of work needing done is huge. The club are hoping to raise funds for several reasons including new containers, maintenance machinery, equipment for juniors and eventually funds for stocking the lochs.

The club are looking to focus on welcoming old and new members to the club, alongside independent angling societys, many local community groups and juniors who will be made very welcome to come along and learn to fish. Raising any funds will be a massive help for the club to allow them to move forward and re-establish Borland Trout fishery as one of the best in the area.
